Listing of films from the National Film Board. As the Second World War ended in a nuclear cloud, the fear of nuclear warfare in North America triggered the start of the Cold War. Canada became a major peace keeper with the beginnings of NATO but had to deal with its own fears generated by the 'Communist threat'.
